Leash Reactive Dog About Town Class

Real-World Membership Training for Graduates of the Foundations Program

We take Leash Reactive Dog graduates about town.

You’ve done the work. You’ve built the foundation. Now it’s time to take your training on the road—with structure, support, and real-life confidence.

Leash Reactive Dogs About Town is a monthly membership for graduates of our Leash Reactive Dog Foundations Program. Every Sunday, we meet in a new location—ranging from San Jose to Palo Alto—to help your dog build skills and resilience in the real world.

Whether it’s a quiet cul-de-sac or a crowded downtown corner, you and your dog will learn to face real-life triggers—and the emotions they stir—with calm, connection, and confidence. This is about more than obedience; it’s about emotional growth, for both ends of the leash.

From leafy suburbs to energetic sidewalks, each week builds on the last—creating better focus, smoother walks, and a dog who trusts you to lead them through the world.

🐾 What’s Included:

    • Weekly Sunday Urban Training Walks
Practice in real-life environments across San Jose to Palo Alto, with guidance that matches your dog’s readiness—not someone else’s pace.
    • Weekly Zoom Practice + Troubleshooting Sessions
These focused coaching calls give you time to ask questions, review progress, and fine-tune your practice plan for the week ahead.
    • Bi-Weekly Virtual Support Groups
A safe space to share the emotional side of training reactive dogs. You’ll connect with fellow members, talk through hard moments, and celebrate wins—big or small.
    • Private Facebook Community
Get round-the-clock support from Kaajal and a community of like-minded dog people. Ask questions, share updates, and know you’re not doing this alone.
    • Monthly Progress Plans
Each dog-handler team moves at their own pace through structured exposure challenges, with adjustments made in real time based on your dog’s comfort and success.

What Our Clients Say

“I took several classes with D For Dog and loved all of them. I really enjoyed that many of the classes were held in different locations around town so your pup gets to practice the skills in the real world.”

“The one thing that sets Kaajal apart from other trainers is that she uses Positive reinforcement methods and is remarkably good at training humans in how they connect with their puppy as that sets the right foundation.”
