Yes, we offer various services tailored to puppies. Choose from Puppy Board and Train, Puppy Day School, Private Training for Puppies, puppy Kindergarten, and Socialization classes. Note: we don’t offer our service in the San Francisco Bay area because it is far from our main facility.

Do you offer behavior modification programs in Silicon Valley (Bay Area)?

We specialize in working with dogs that bark and growl at visitors and bark and lunge at other dogs and people on walks. Choose from Group Classes to more personalized Private Lessons, Day School, and board-and-train programs to replace barking, growling, and lunging with desirable behaviors.

Does D For Dogz guarantee results?

Ah! We are so glad you asked this question. Integrating a different species into the human world is a process, and it involves doing the work alongside the trainer, adjusting, and adding next-level skills as needed. We cannot guarantee we will turn your German Shepherd into a happy, chirpy Golden Retriever. We can guarantee that we will offer the best puppy and dog training information backed by science to get effective results. Training is a process. It is about meeting your dog where they are, for who they are, in recognition of all that they bring to the table in their unique recipe for interacting with L.E.G.S. (Learning, Environment, Genetics, & Self-Credit Applied Ethologist Kim Brophey). Other trainers’ guarantees are just marketing strategies. They often involve using shock collars and other aversive training methods that work quickly but are unreliable. AVSAB endorses training methods that allow animals to work for things (e.g., food, play, affection) that motivate them rather than techniques that use fear or pain to punish them for undesirable behaviors.
