Foundation Manners Program

For puppies 17 weeks and older, adolescent & adult dogs, we focus on foundation manners:

Basic Manners: Leave it, drop it, come

Self Control: Walk on a loose-leash, greet people politely, wait at the door until asked to step out, wait in the car until asked to hop-out, mealtime manners and more

Settle Calmly: While I make or eat dinner at home, or reply to my emails or participate in a work meeting.

Body Handling & Grooming: Teaching your dog to cooperate for vet exam and grooming procedures. Checking their ears and paws, brush their teeth & body, bathe them.

This program helps you build foundation behaviors in your house, backyard & around your neighborhood.

What Our Clients Say

“I took several classes with D For Dog and loved all of them. I really enjoyed that many of the classes were held in different locations around town so your pup gets to practice the skills in the real world.”

“The one thing that sets Kaajal apart from other trainers is that she uses Positive reinforcement methods and is remarkably good at training humans in how they connect with their puppy as that sets the right foundation.”
