Puppy Private Training

Private training allows for focused attention on the specific needs and behaviors of the puppy. It helps create controlled and gradual socialization experiences, ensuring the puppy builds positive associations with new people, animals, and environments from an early age.

Our certified professional trainer will meet your puppy 3 times each week, teaching him the rules of your house — at home and out and about where you need your pup to show off his manners. We’ll meet once a week at a convenient time in your home or outdoors to transfer the training results so you can enjoy your well-behaved puppy.

The primary program goals are appropriate socialization, confidence building, installing the calm switch, solutions to common puppy problems, settling calmly where needed, foundation manners and more…

Adult Dog Private Training

Private training provides the one-on-one focus necessary to address these issues effectively. It offers a flexible and targeted approach to address specific issues, enhance skills, and improve the overall quality of the dog’s life.

Private training also allows for targeted behavior modification tailored to the individual needs of adult dogs. Whether dealing with aggression, anxiety, or other behavioral issues, a personalized approach is more effective in achieving positive outcomes.

Whether you need to strengthen your adolescent dog’s foundation manners, or integrate your newly adopted adult dog into your household, private training gets you results faster.

Leash Reactive Dog Private Training

Our growly dog training includes two approaches: We teach your dog there’s nothing to be afraid of, and we show him new, more effective ways to behave when he sees or interacts with another dog. We also work on your body language to ensure that there is no conflicting communication between you and your dog.

This one-two combination is designed to get your dog feeling more comfortable around other dogs, and you feeling less stressed as a result.

Human Aggression Private Training

Dealing with a dog showing aggression toward humans requires specialized attention. Our Human Aggression Private Training program, employs expert techniques to address and modify this behavior safely and effectively. Our trainers work diligently to understand the root causes and implement strategies that promote trust and appropriate behavior.

What Our Clients Say

“I took several classes with D For Dog and loved all of them. I really enjoyed that many of the classes were held in different locations around town so your pup gets to practice the skills in the real world.”

“The one thing that sets Kaajal apart from other trainers is that she uses Positive reinforcement methods and is remarkably good at training humans in how they connect with their puppy as that sets the right foundation.”
